Percy Hughes Award Winner selects Victory House as Charity of ChoiceOn January 19, 2010, the Director of Community Services at Lehigh University, Carolina Hernandez, received the Percy Hughes Award at a banquet held at Lehigh University. The Hughes Award honors those individuals who work toward advancing Lehigh University’s culture of addressing the local, national, or world challenges by direct active involvement. Carolina‘s direct active involvement in directing the community services department at Lehigh helped her achieve her departments goals. Awardees receive a monetary prize and have their names engraved on the Percy Hughes plaque. Awardees are unanimously chosen by Lehigh’s Percy Hughes committee.
